Description
Our beautiful, sustainable cottage is equipped with a kitchen, shower, air conditioning, and toilet. It has a fixed bed measuring 120 x 220 cm. There is also a foldaway bed measuring 150 x 220 cm. To contribute to the environment, we have chosen an electric stovetop and a boiler for hot water. Because of the boiler, showers can only be used for a maximum of 10 minutes at a time. After that, it takes 15 minutes for the boiler to heat up.
This is not a suitable location for parties or playing loud music. The accommodation is located in a residential area where it is strictly silent after 11:00 PM. The use of hard and/or soft drugs is prohibited. Access to our Tiny House is via a key safe.
In the shed next to the cottage, you'll find a clothes horse, clothes pegs, an ironing board, an iron, a parasol, four outdoor chairs, and an outdoor table. A camp bed and/or high chair can be provided. The alleyway next to the cottage is covered, where bikes can be stored safely and dry.

Woody is a tiny house located 300 meters from the beach and dunes.
The tiny house is fully furnished and newly built. It's fully insulated, and everything is new. It has air conditioning that can cool and heat, perfect for both cold and warm days. It's the ideal, peaceful base for exploring the beautiful surrounding nature, whether on foot, by bike, or on any other outdoor activity.
Amsterdam, Alkmaar, and Haarlem are just 25 minutes away.

Wijk aan Zee is a charming seaside resort on the North Sea coast, nestled between the dunes and a beautiful beach. Here you'll find the most beautiful and widest beach in the Netherlands.
Until the mid-nineteenth century, Wijk aan Zee was a typical fishing village.
However, the village lacked a harbor, meaning that over the course of the nineteenth century, Wijk aan Zee lost its competitive edge to other fishing villages in the region.
At that time, some merchants saw a spire rising above the dunes. They walked along a sandy path and, upon entering, saw a quiet village surrounded by high dunes overgrown with rose bushes. In the center of the village was a beautiful green meadow where cows grazed. Surrounding this meadow were unique houses, including the old village church. Among these merchants was Mr. Tappenbeck. This gentleman was responsible, among other things, for digging the beach access on Zwaanstraat.
A new seaside resort was born, and now, several years later, Wijk aan Zee still lies on the edge of the vast North Holland dunes and a stone's throw from the beach and sea. Over the years, Wijk aan Zee has become a versatile place. Here you'll still find peace and quiet, abundant nature, and, of course, plenty of dining and overnight accommodations. In 2021, Wijk aan Zee celebrated its 140th anniversary as an exceptional seaside resort.
